TG Welding Custom fabrication and repair
Custom fab and repair
TG Welding takes custom fabrication and repair work that other shops pass on: one-off builds in our Liberty Hill bay or repair welding on site from our mobile rig. Past jobs include trailer repairs, hitches, awning frames, plasma cut signs, storage cages and shipping container doors. Send photos and a description for a written quote.

What kind of custom jobs does TG Welding take?
- Steel awning frames over windows on new builds
- Backlit plasma cut business signs
- Secure storage cages in parking garages
- Shipping container doors with awning and ramp
- A tall steel mast mounted to a truck receiver
- An offset smoker built on a four wheel cart
Do you do repair welding?
Yes. Repairs in our work include an enclosed car trailer after an aluminum repair, an enclosed trailer wall rebuild and trailer hitches welded on site. Bring it to the shop or we bring the rig to you.
How do I get a one-off job quoted?
Send photos, rough dimensions and what the piece needs to do. A sketch on paper is fine. We reply with a written number in days. Our CNC plasma table cuts plate parts in house, which helps on signs and cut details.

FAQ Custom fabrication and repair
Custom fabrication and repair questions
Will you take a job other shops turned down?
Often, yes. One-off and tricky jobs are a big part of our work, and a local review says we take on the jobs other shops pass on. Send photos and a description of what you need, and we will tell you straight whether it is a fit.
Can you repair aluminum?
Our work includes an enclosed car trailer after an aluminum repair, so send photos of the damage and the trailer or part. We tell you in the written quote what we can repair and what should be replaced, so you can decide before any work starts.
Do I need drawings for a custom piece?
No. A sketch, a photo of something similar, or rough dimensions and a description is enough to start. For structural or load-bearing pieces, send any engineered drawings you have. We confirm the details in writing before fabrication begins.
What are we fabricating?
Send drawings, a sketch or a photo, the site and the date you need it. We reply with a written number in days.
