TG Welding Fencing and gates
Fencing, gates and entrances
TG Welding builds fencing and gates across Central Texas: pipe and ranch fence, ornamental iron, cedar privacy fence on steel posts, ranch entrances and automated swing and slide gates. We set posts, weld on site and hang gates to run true. Send the property address, the fence line and the gate style for a written quote.

What fence types does TG Welding build?
- Pipe top rail fence with woven wire
- Four rail pipe fence along pasture
- Black steel frame wire panel fence
- Ornamental steel fence around homes and along the road
- Horizontal cedar and privacy fence built on steel posts
- Steel rod rail fence along the waterfront
- Chain link storage enclosures with privacy slats
What about gates and ranch entrances?
We build ranch entrances with cut steel details, like a Texas star or a monogram, steel entrance arches with fence wings, and double swing and slide gates. Automated gates in our work include arm operators and solar powered openers on ranch drive gates.
How is a fence line built?
Posts are set and braced first. On larger lines we drive steel posts with a skid steer. Then wire panels or rail are welded to the posts on site. Creek crossings get a hanging water gap so the line holds when the water rises.

FAQ Fencing and gates
Fencing and gates questions
Can you automate a new or existing gate?
Yes. Our gate work includes automated double swing gates, arm operators and solar powered openers on ranch drive gates, plus slide gates. Tell us the gate width, whether power is at the gate, and send a photo of the opening so we can quote it.
What should I send for a fence quote?
Send the property address, the rough length of the fence line, the fence style and any gates or entrance you want. A marked-up aerial or survey helps. We reply with a written quote in days that covers posts, material, gates and install.
Do you build fence on acreage and ranch land?
Yes. Pipe fence, woven wire and four rail pipe fence on pasture are a large part of our fence work around Liberty Hill and the Hill Country. We set and brace posts, drive posts with a skid steer on long runs, and build water gaps at creek crossings.
What are we fabricating?
Send drawings, a sketch or a photo, the site and the date you need it. We reply with a written number in days.
