Can you work inside a remodel that is already underway?
Yes. Much of our structural work is steel set inside a live remodel or a commercial interior, fit to the framing that is already there. We coordinate with your crew so the steel goes in when the framing is ready for it.
Who designs the steel?
Your engineer or architect sizes the members. We fabricate and install to those drawings. If a job needs engineering, check with your city or county building department on what they require before steel is ordered.

Do you provide engineering for beams and headers?
We build to the drawings your engineer or architect provides. Structural members need to be sized by someone licensed to do it, and your city or county may require stamped drawings. Send what you have with the quote request and we will tell you if anything is missing.
Can you install steel in an occupied home?
Yes. Steel set inside a live remodel is a regular part of our work. We fit beams, columns and headers to the existing framing on site and work around your crew's schedule. Tell us about access, ceiling height and how the steel gets in the room.
What should I send for a structural steel quote?
Send the engineered drawings or the plan sheet showing the members, the job address, and the date the framing will be ready. Photos of the opening help. We reply with a written quote in days that spells out what is fabricated, delivered and installed.
