Misc metals for the data center build
TG Welding builds misc metals for trade contractors and GCs on data center work along the Georgetown, Taylor and Temple corridor. We fab equipment and pipe supports, platforms, stairs and rail, bollards, security fence and gates, and lifting lugs in our Liberty Hill shop. Production runs welcome, quoted in days, with field welding on site.
001 The problem
Big jobs still need small steel on time
- 01
Misc metals get squeezed
The big steel packages get the attention. Supports, stairs and bollards end up late and hold up the trades around them.
- 02
Revs change the counts
Revs come out and counts change. A shop that can't adjust quickly leaves you short in the field.
- 03
Big shops are booked
Large fabricators are full with the main frames. Getting a smaller package quoted can take weeks.

007 FAQ
Straight answers for data centers
What misc metals can you take on?
Pipe and equipment supports, stands and frames, steel stairs and platforms, guardrail and handrail, bollards, security fence and gates, and lifting lugs. We build to your drawings in Liberty Hill and run quantities to your count. Send the package and you'll have a written quote in days, not weeks or months.
Can you handle revisions and changing quantities?
Yes. Send the new revision and the updated counts, and we'll update the written quote. Production runs are welcome, one part or a thousand, so a change in quantity is a change to the quote. Keep the current rev in front of us and we build to it.
Do you weld on site?
Yes. Our fully equipped mobile welding rig comes to the job site for field welds and fit-up. Most parts are built in our Liberty Hill bay and set by our crew. That keeps shop work and field work under one sub, with one schedule confirmed in writing once you approve the quote.
What does vendor setup look like?
We keep a one-sheet contractor packet for vendor setup on this page. We carry $2M general liability and send a COI on request. Payment is by ACH or check, and AP questions go to accounting@tgweldingatx.com. Your office gets what it needs to set us up as a vendor without chasing us.
Misc metals package ready?
