Do you build the stairs too?
Yes. We build steel stairs from shop drawings, including a commercial steel stair and guardrail in a switchback layout. Stairs are fit up in the shop, then installed and the rail is fit on site.
Interior or exterior?
Both. Interior loft and stair rail, exterior porch and deck rail, and rail along a raised garage driveway are all in our work. Tell us where the rail goes so we plan the finish and the post mounting for that spot.

What do you need to quote a handrail?
Send photos of the stair or landing, rough lengths, the rail style you want and the job address. Drawings help on new builds. We reply with a written quote in days covering fabrication and install, so you know the full scope before you commit.
Do handrails have to meet code?
Yes. Stair rail and guardrail heights, openings and loads are set by the building code your city or county has adopted. Check with your local building department or your builder on what applies, and we build the rail to those requirements and your drawings.
How long does a handrail job take?
It depends on length, style and how many runs the job has. Rail is built in our shop, then installed on site. You get a written quote in days, and we confirm the install date in writing when the job is ordered.
