Gate steel built for your operators
TG Welding builds steel gate leaves, frames and posts for gate automation and access control installers across Central Texas. Send your opening size, operator type and drawings. We send a written quote in days, fab the steel in our Liberty Hill shop, and can set posts and hang leaves on site so your crew can mount the operator.
001 The problem
Your operator is only as good as the gate
- 01
Gates that sag and bind
A leaf that racks out of square fights the operator every cycle. Your crew ends up back on site chasing a problem that started in the weld.
- 02
Waiting on the steel
The operator is on the shelf and the gate isn't built. The job sits open and the customer keeps calling you.
- 03
Mount points nobody planned
Brackets and plates get added in the field with a grinder and a guess. That's rework you can't bill.

007 FAQ
Straight answers for gate and access control
Do you install the gate operator?
No. We build and set the steel and leave the operator to you. That means gate leaves, slide frames, posts and mount plates built to your layout. Our crew can set posts and hang leaves on site, so your team arrives to mount, wire and program the operator.
Can you build a slide gate to my track and roller layout?
Yes. Send the opening width, the track and roller layout and the operator you plan to use. We build the frame to that layout in our Liberty Hill shop. If you have a drawing, send it. If not, a sketch with dimensions and site photos is a good start for a written quote.
How fast can I get a quote?
Written quotes go out in days, not weeks or months. Send drawings, dimensions or photos to sam@tgweldingatx.com, or call the shop at (512) 548-5401. Once you approve the quote, we confirm the schedule in writing so you can book your crew and give your customer a real date.
Can you fix a gate that's already up and dragging?
Often, yes. Our fully equipped mobile welding rig comes to the site. We can reweld hinges, brace a leaf that has racked, or reset and reweld a post. Send photos and the address so we can see what it needs and quote it in writing.
