Field welding that comes to you
TG Welding brings a fully equipped mobile welding rig to contractors and fleets across Central Texas. We weld on the job site, in your yard or at the ranch: equipment repairs, trailer hitches and structural field welds. Call the shop or send photos for a written quote. Bigger work, like truck beds, comes back to our Liberty Hill bay.
001 The problem
Broken steel shouldn't stop the whole job
- 01
Hauling it in costs a day
Loading broken equipment and hauling it to a shop takes a truck, a driver and a day you don't have.
- 02
Crew standing around
One cracked bracket or a broken hitch and the whole crew waits. Payroll keeps running either way.
- 03
Some jobs can't move
Plenty of shops want you to bring the work to them. A column on a slab or a post in a field stays put.

007 FAQ
Straight answers for contractors and fleets
Where will your mobile rig travel?
Our service area covers Liberty Hill, Georgetown, Leander, Cedar Park, Round Rock, Bertram, Burnet, Marble Falls and Northwest Austin, plus Williamson, Burnet and Travis counties. If your site is farther out, call the shop at (512) 548-5401 and we'll talk it through.
Can you weld a hitch or a repair on my truck in the yard?
Yes. We weld trailer hitches on site and handle repairs on trucks and equipment where they sit. Send photos of the truck or the break, plus the address, and we'll quote it in writing. If it needs new parts, we cut and build them in our Liberty Hill shop first.
Do you do structural welds in the field?
Yes. Our crew welds columns, beams, base plates and headers in place on the job site. We build to the engineered drawings you supply, so send those with the scope. We can also fab the steel in our Liberty Hill bay and set it on site, so one crew covers the shop and the field.
What do you need before we put you on our site?
Most sites ask for insurance first. We carry $2M general liability and send a COI on request. Our one-sheet contractor packet on this page has our vendor details. Payment is by ACH or check, and AP questions go to accounting@tgweldingatx.com. Send it to your safety or vendor team before we roll out.
