Your steel details, built as drawn
TG Welding builds steel to the drawings architects, engineers and designers specify. From our Liberty Hill shop we fab columns, beams, headers, stairs, rail, pergolas, gates and custom pieces across Central Texas. We build to your stamped drawings and details. You get a written quote in days and the schedule in writing once you approve the quote.
001 The problem
Where a good detail gets lost
- 01
Shops that swap the detail
A fabricator changes a section or a connection to suit its tools. It looks close, but not like the drawing.
- 02
Questions that come too late
Nobody asks before the steel is cut. The first sign of a problem shows up on site.
- 03
Long waits on a number
Your client wants a quote before the design is final. A slow fab quote holds up the whole decision.

Drawings in. Steel out.
Four steps, all in writing, so your team always knows what is being built and when it lands.
- Send the setSend the drawings, details and finish specs that cover the steel.
- Questions in writingWe flag anything unclear before we quote, so nothing gets guessed.
- Written quoteYou get a written quote in days, not weeks or months.
- Built to the drawingOnce you approve the quote, we confirm the schedule in writing, then fab and set to your details.

007 FAQ
Straight answers for architects and designers
Do you build to our engineer's stamped drawings?
Yes. We build to the stamped drawings and details you supply. We're a fabricator, not an engineering firm, so sizing and connection design stay with your engineer. If something on the sheet won't work in the shop, we ask before we cut.
How early can you look at a design?
Send it as soon as the steel is drawn. We read the drawings and details and send a written quote in days, not weeks or months. Early sets with sizes and finishes work fine. When the design changes, send the new rev and we update the quote.
Do you work with steel and wood in the same piece?
Yes. Our fences and pergolas often pair steel frames with cedar and wood. That keeps one shop on the full detail instead of two trades splitting it. Send the elevations and finish specs, and we quote the piece as one scope.
Where do you work?
Our shop is at 3850 N. Highway 183 in Liberty Hill. We work in Liberty Hill, Georgetown, Leander, Cedar Park, Round Rock, Bertram, Burnet, Marble Falls and Northwest Austin, across Williamson, Burnet and Travis counties. For projects farther out, call the shop at (512) 548-5401.
Steel on your next set?
