Steel details your clients will notice
TG Welding builds steel for custom home builders in Liberty Hill, Georgetown, Leander and across Central Texas. We make columns, beams, loft and stair rail, awning frames, pergolas and entrance gates to your plans. We fab it in our shop and our crew sets it on site. Send the plans and you'll get a written quote in days.
001 The problem
The steel trade can hold up a whole house
- 01
Framing waits on steel
A column or beam that shows up late stops the framers. Every trade behind them slides too.
- 02
Finish steel looks rough
Rail and gates sit at eye level for the life of the house. Sloppy welds and wavy bars get noticed at the walkthrough.
- 03
Too many small vendors
One shop for beams, another for rail, a third for the gate. That's three schedules and three invoices to chase.
002 What we build
Steel from the slab to the front gate
One shop for the structural steel and the finish steel your clients see.

007 FAQ
Straight answers for custom home builders
Can you match the rail style our client picked?
Usually, yes. We build horizontal bar, cable, picket and flat bar rail, with wood caps where the design calls for them. Send the plans or a photo of the style along with the stair and landing details. We'll quote it in writing and build it to fit the stairs on site.
Do you set the steel columns and beams?
Yes. We build columns, beams and headers to your plans in our Liberty Hill shop, then our crew sets them on site. Base and cap plates are welded in the shop. If the structural design comes from your engineer, we build to those drawings.
When should we bring you in on a build?
As early as you have plans. Send them with the steel scope marked and we'll return a written quote in days. Once you approve the quote, we confirm the schedule in writing, so you can plan framing and finish trades around it.
What areas do you cover?
We work Liberty Hill, Georgetown, Leander, Cedar Park, Round Rock, Bertram, Burnet, Marble Falls and Northwest Austin, across Williamson, Burnet and Travis counties. For a build farther out, call the shop at (512) 548-5401 with the address and the scope you have in mind.
