Overflow capacity for fab shops
TG Welding takes overflow work from steel fab shops across Central Texas. Send shop drawings and quantities. We quote in writing in days, confirm the schedule in writing once you approve the quote, and build in our Liberty Hill bay. Need hands on site? Our crew can set and install the steel, and our mobile rig handles field welds.
001 The problem
When the board is full and the bids keep coming
- 01
Too much work, too few hands
Saying no to good work hurts. Saying yes and missing dates hurts more.
- 02
Erection crew is booked
The steel is ready but nobody's free to set it. The GC is calling and the site is waiting.
- 03
Subs who go quiet
You handed off a package and the sub stopped answering. Now you're chasing parts you already sold.

Verified TG Welding review
- We build to your drawings
- You keep the customer and the design. We build what's on the sheet and ask before we change anything.
- Tricky jobs welcome
- Odd parts and tight fits don't send us running. We'd rather work out a hard one than pass on it.
- Shop and field crew
- We fab in our bay under an overhead hoist. Then our own crew and mobile rig set and install it on site.

007 FAQ
Straight answers for fabrication shops
Can you build to our shop drawings?
Yes. Send the shop drawings, quantities and the date you need the steel. We build to the sheet in our Liberty Hill bay. If something on the drawing doesn't add up, we'll ask before we cut. You get a written quote in days and a written schedule once you approve the quote.
Do you set steel, or only fab it?
Both. We fab in the Liberty Hill bay and our crew can set and install the steel on site. That covers red-iron frames, columns, beams, stairs and rail. Our fully equipped mobile rig handles field welds, so one package can run from our shop floor to the punch list.
Will you take a one-off or a short run?
Yes. Production runs are welcome, from one part to a thousand. A single odd part that's eating your shop's time is a good fit for us. Send the drawing and quantity to sam@tgweldingatx.com and we'll quote it in writing in days.
What do you need to add us as a sub?
Our one-sheet contractor packet on this page has our vendor details. We carry $2M general liability and send a COI on request. Payment is by ACH or check. For estimating questions, call Tim at (512) 713-7179 or email tim@tgweldingatx.com. Sales questions go to sam@tgweldingatx.com.
Board too full?
Send the shop drawings, and we'll send a written quote in days.
