Your steel sub that shows up
TG Welding is a steel fabrication sub for commercial general contractors in Liberty Hill, Georgetown and across Central Texas. We build structural steel, steel buildings, stairs, rail and misc metals to your drawings in our Liberty Hill shop. Then our crew sets it on site. Send the drawings, get a written quote in days, and we confirm the schedule in writing once you approve the quote.
001 The problem
Steel is the scope that stalls a job
- 01
A sub who goes quiet
You send drawings and wait two weeks for a number. Then the bid goes out with a guess on the steel line.
- 02
Vendor setup drags
Your office needs a COI and vendor paperwork before work starts. Chasing a small shop for it eats days.
- 03
Rework on the punch list
Steel that doesn't match the drawings means torches on site and an unhappy super. The punch list grows and the schedule slips.

007 FAQ
Straight answers for general contractors
How fast can we get a steel number for a bid?
Send the drawings and scope and you'll have a written quote in days, not weeks or months. Email tim@tgweldingatx.com or call Tim at (512) 713-7179. If the drawings change, send the new revision and we'll update the quote so your bid matches the current set.
What do you need for vendor setup?
Our one-sheet contractor packet is ready for your office on this page. We carry $2M general liability and send a COI on request. Payment is by ACH or check, and AP questions go to accounting@tgweldingatx.com. Your office gets what it needs to set us up as a vendor without chasing us.
Do you install, or just fabricate?
Both. We fab the steel in our Liberty Hill bay and our crew sets it on your site. Our fully equipped mobile welding rig handles field welds and fit-up. That keeps one sub responsible for the steel from the shop to the finished install.
Do you work from our drawings?
Yes. We build to the drawings and specs you supply, including your engineer's drawings for structural work. We are fabricators, not engineers, so the design stays with your design team. If something on the drawings doesn't add up in the shop, we flag it before we cut.
Got a steel scope to quote?
Send the drawings to tim@tgweldingatx.com or call the shop at (512) 548-5401 for a written quote.
