Supports, stands and skids, built in runs
TG Welding builds steel for mechanical, plumbing and industrial contractors in Central Texas. We fabricate pipe supports, equipment stands, racks, frames and skids in our Liberty Hill shop, with an overhead hoist and CNC plasma table. Our mobile rig handles field welds. Send drawings and quantities for a written quote in days, with the schedule confirmed in writing once you approve the quote.
001 The problem
Your trade needs steel, not a steel department
- 01
Supports hold up the install
The pipe and equipment are on site. The stands and supports are not, so your crew waits.
- 02
Field-built steel is slow
Cutting and welding frames on site ties up your best people. It is rarely as square as shop work.
- 03
Revs and repeat orders
Drawings change and the next job needs ten more. You need a shop that's careful with revs.

007 FAQ
Straight answers for mechanical and industrial
Can you build pipe supports and stands to our drawings?
Yes. Send the drawings with the current rev and the quantity. We cut, fit and weld them in our Liberty Hill shop and quote the work in writing in days. We build to the engineered drawings you supply. We're not engineers, so the design stays with your team.
Do you handle repeat orders?
Yes. Production runs are welcome, from one part to a thousand. When the next job needs more of the same part, send the drawing rev. We stage parts on racks in the shop so counts and revs stay straight.
Can you weld on site in a running facility?
Our fully equipped mobile welding rig comes to the job site for tie-ins, mods and repairs. Tell us about the site, the access and any rules for work there. We will quote the field work in writing and confirm the schedule once you approve the quote.
What do you need to get us set up as a vendor?
Our one-sheet contractor packet is on this page. We carry $2M general liability and send a COI on request. We take payment by ACH or check. Send your vendor forms and any AP questions to accounting@tgweldingatx.com, and we'll get them back to you.
Need steel for the install?
